Beaverhead Marathon Full & Half

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Montana Events Foundation is excited to be hosting the 8th Annual Beaverhead Marathon and Half Marathon on May 23, 2026 in Dillon, Montana. We have changed the course to a loop, starting and finishing at Beaverhead Brewing Company. Runners will run through the streets of Dillon and then through rich agriculture land with views of the Pioneer, Blacktail, Sweetwater, Highland and Tobacco Root Mountains. The views in Beaverhead County are amazing!

• Amenities: Each participant will receive a hat, finisher medal, a burger, drink and chips after the race. Beaverhead Brewing Company will offer one complimentary beer to all runners.

📅 Packet Pick-up

• Pre-race: Beaverhead Brewing Company - May 22, 2026 at 5-7PM.
• Race Day: Packet Pick-up - May 23, 2026 at 7AM at Beaverhead Brewing Company.

🏅 Race Start Times

• Full Marathon: May 23, 2026 at 9AM. Elevation is 5,240 feet.
• Half Marathon: May 23, 2026 at 10AM. Elevation is 5,240 feet.

🛑 Aid Stations

• Number: 10 stations.
• Nutrition: Fueled by Hammer Nutrition.
• Supplies: Each aid station will have water, heed, and gels, as well as fruit and other snacks.

🏁 Finish Line

• Location: Beaverhead Brewing Company - 218 S. Montana St. Dillon, Montana.
• Elevation: 5,240 feet.

📏 Course Details

• Map: We do not have a course map, but we are working on one for both races.
• Surface: The course is on both dirt and pavement. Half Marathon is on pavement. Marathon is 1/3 dirt and 2/3 pavement.
• Policy: We have a "NO DOG" policy on the course.
• Strollers: We do allow and encourage strollers.

💰 Policy Information

• Refunds: WE HAVE A "NO REFUND" POLICY.
• Race Bag: Each participant will receive a race bag with a hat, stickers, Hammer Nutrition, and other sponsor goodies.
• Finishers: Participants that finish the race will receive a finisher medal and a beer from Beaverhead Brewing Company.
