Bellingham Bay Marathon

Event Overview

• Event Date: Sunday, September 20th, 2026
• Location: 1100 Railroad Ave, Bellingham, WA
• Race Types: Bellingham Bay Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K
• Purpose: 100% of net proceeds benefit Whatcom County youth non-profit organizations.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

• Date: Saturday – September 19, 2026
• Time: 1:00pm – 6:00pm
• Location: Bellingham Cruise Terminal – 425 Harris Ave, Bellingham WA 98225
• Registration: To save time, register via your smart phone at www.bellinghambaymarathon.org

Day of Race Packet Pickup

• Date: Sunday – Sept. 20, 2026
• Time: 5:45am – 15 minutes prior to event start time
• Locations: Marathon at Lummi Nation School, Half | 10K | 5K at Depot Market Square
• Packet Pickup: Allowed for friends with proper name notification

Event Day Timeline

• 6:00AM: Full Marathon Packet Pickup Begins
• 6:45AM: Marathon Early Start Walkers Begins
• 7:00AM: Half Marathon/10K/5K Packet Pickup Begins
• 7:30AM: Full Marathon & Full Marathon Relay Start at Lummi Nation School

• 9:00AM: Half Marathon Run/Walk Start
• 9:15AM: 10K Run/Walk Start
• 9:30AM: 5K Run/Walk Start
• 10:00AM: Finish Line Celebration featuring live music, beer garden, and more!

Price Increase Schedule

• Marathon & Early Walkers: $100 (thru 5/8) to $155 (9/19 - 9/20)
• Marathon Relay: $180 (thru 5/8) to $300 (9/19 - 9/20)
• 1/2 Marathon: $80 (thru 5/8) to $130 (9/19 - 9/20)
• 10K Run/Walk: $35 (thru 5/8) to $60 (9/19 - 9/20)
• 5K Run/Walk: $30 (thru 5/8) to $50 (9/19 - 9/20)
