Run the Valley with Skagit Runners
📏Race Distances
- Distances: 5K run/walk and 10K run.
- Course: Both courses are run on flat, low-traffic farm roads in the Skagit Valley.
- Post-Race: Stay for food and refreshments.
- Special Prize: Opportunity to win a pumpkin pie!
👶Free Kids' Half-Mile Run
- Age Limit: For those 8 years and under.
- Start Time: Starts promptly at 9:15 a.m.
- Registration: Children must be registered in person by 9:00 a.m.
- Cost: This fun run is free.
⏰Race Day Schedule
- 8 am - 8:25 am: Volunteers set up.
- 8:25 am - 9:30 am: Day of race registration (NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL).
- 9:15 am: 1/2 mile kids' run start.
- 10 am: 5K & 10K start.
📦Packet Pick-Up
- Date: 1-5pm Friday, November 13th.
- Location: Skagit Running Company (724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273).
- Day of Race Packet Pick-up: Pre-registered participants may pick up their bib numbers starting at 8:25 a.m. on race morning.
- Cost Increase: $40 for 5K and $50 for 10K (NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL).
🍰Food and Refreshments
- Treat: Traditional pumpkin pie available as a post-race treat!
🏅Awards
- Finishers Medal: Every participant will receive a finishers medal.
- Special Awards: Given to the top 3 male and female finishers.
- Beat the Turkey: Tom Turkey will be starting the 10K five minutes after the gun.
- Special Recognition: Finish the 10K ahead of him and receive a special award at the finish line!
