Run the Valley with Skagit Runners
Race Details
- Distances: Two options- a 5K run/walk and a 10K run.
- Course: Both courses are run on flat, low-traffic farm roads in the Skagit Valley.
- Post-Race: Stay for food, refreshments, and the chance to win a pumpkin pie!
- Kids' Run: Free kids' half-mile run for those 8 years and under starts at 9:15 a.m.
Race Day Schedule
- 8:00 am - 8:25 am: Volunteers set up.
- 8:25 am - 9:30 am: Race day registration (NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL).
- 9:15 am: Kids' half-mile run starts.
- 10:00 am: 5K & 10K race starts.
Packet Pick-Up
- Date: Friday, November 13th from 1-5 pm at Skagit Running Company (724 S 1st St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273).
- Day of Race Registration: Please arrive early if you plan to register on the morning of the race.
- Price Increase: $40 for 5K and $50 for 10K (NOT GUARANTEED A FINISHERS MEDAL).
- Packet Pick-up: Pre-registered participants may pick up bib numbers starting at 8:25 a.m.
Food and Refreshments
- Treat: Traditional pumpkin pie available as a post-race treat!
Awards
- Finisher's Medal: Every participant will receive a finisher’s medal.
- Special Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive special awards.
Beat the Turkey!
- Challenge: Tom Turkey starts the 10K five minutes after the gun.
- Award: Finish the 10K ahead of him to receive a special award at the finish line!
