About this race
The Annual La Conner Turkey Trot is a hometown run on Thanksgiving morning in the beautiful waterfront town of La Conner, Washington. The La Conner Braves Booster Club hosts the Turkey Trot, with proceeds benefiting the La Conner Track & Field Program, helping supply student-athletes with the equipment, implements, and opportunities to help make them successful.
The Turkey Trot is fun for the entire family and a great way to support kids and earn some guilt-free eating later on in the day! The route starts and finishes at La Conner Middle & High School, consisting of a loop through the streets and parks of La Conner.
This year we have several great prizes awarded to the top overall finishers, and every participant can receive a free bag of Pioneer Potatoes and new for 2026

Event details and schedule
When: Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26, 2026
- 6:30am Day of Registration Opens – Pick up Bib Number and Sign Waiver (if you haven't already) at La Conner Middle School Gym
- 7:45am Registration Closes
- 7:55 am - Kids Dash
- 8:00am Race Begins at La Conner Middle School – Course is marked throughout La Conner but please check the route before you head out.
- Post Race: Refreshments & Prizes
- Parking: Please park in La Conner High School(North of the Gym) and Elementary School lots.
- Remember: T his is a FUN RUN and is not going to be Automatically Chip Timed. We will have a race clock at the finish line.
- Course: Please look out for traffic, use sidewalks where possible, and stay on the course. Signs should point you in the right direction.
- What to wear: Any Thanksgiving-inspired attire is most welcome!
