The Big Chief Tire One Mile Championships are BACK! Presented by PRS Running Club, this iconic race returns for its 12th year, bringing speed, competition, and pure mile magic back to Jacksonville.

Race Legacy

• 2014 Champion: Crowned a blazing 4:05.2 men’s champion.
• 2015 Achievement: Delivered the fastest women’s mile in event history at 4:53.4.
• 2016 Chaos: Saw absolute mayhem up front — the top 5 men separated by less than 5 seconds, while the top 3 women all dipped under 5:03.

Now in 2026, we return to the Fishweir Brewing venue with a fast, spectator-friendly course built for bold racing and new records. Flat, quick, and electric — this is a mile designed to fly.
