2026 Glow and Go (5K)

Glow and Go 5K

The Glow and Go 5K will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 beginning at 6 p.m. along The Woodlands Waterway. The race is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event, with awards provided for overall male and female, as well as first, second, and third place in both male and female age groups.

The chip-timed 5K course winds throughout The Woodlands Waterway, providing a scenic route with a fun and enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday glow attire!

Awards and Ceremony

• Awards Distribution: Awards will be distributed onsite, but there will not be an Awards Ceremony.
• Photo Area: A photo area will be available for participants.

Registration Info

• Registration Fee: $35 includes finisher medal and participant packet.
• Participant Shirt: Not included but available for an additional $15 (limited sizes).
• No Race Day Registration: Please note that there will be no race day registration.
• Strollers: Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements!

Refund Policy

100 percent of your entry fee will be refunded until November 14, 2026. Refunds will not include Active.com processing fee and can take up to 3 weeks for processing. Please email the department to request a refund.

Transfer Policy

Entry fees are nontransferable from year to year. Transfers must be completed by the deadline by logging into your Active website account and selecting "My Events." All transfers must be completed by November 14, 2026. If you need assistance with transfers, please email the department.

Weather Cancellations

We have a "no refund policy" in regards to weather cancellations of any kind as well as changes to the race after registration. Unforeseen changes can occur at any time due to safety concerns. We do everything we can to create a better, safer, more enjoyable experience for all participants.
