2026 Glow and Go (5K)

Glow and Go 5K

The Glow and Go 5K will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 beginning at 6 p.m. along The Woodlands Waterway.

Event Details

• Location: 2099 Lake Robbins Dr, The Woodlands, TX
• Organizer: The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department
• Sanctioned: USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event
• Categories: Awards for overall male and female, and first, second, and third place in both male and female age groups

Race Features

• Course: Chip-timed 5K course winding through The Woodlands Waterway
• Participants: Open to runners of all abilities, recommended for ages 10 and older
• Dress Code: Participants are encouraged to dress in their best holiday glow attire
• Atmosphere: A fun and enjoyable environment fostering friendly competition

Registration Information

• Fee: $35 includes finisher medal and participant packet
• Shirts: Participant shirt sold separately for $15, must be purchased by November 7, 2026
• No Race Day Registration: There will be no registration on race day
• Strollers: Not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements

Awards and Photos

• Awards: No ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite
• Photo Area: Available for participants

Refund and Transfer Policy

• Refunds: 100 percent of entry fee refunded until November 14, 2026 (processing fees excluded)
• Transfers: Nontransferable from year to year; must be completed by November 14, 2026

Weather Cancellations

There is a "no refund policy" regarding weather cancellations and changes to the race after registration. Changes may occur for safety reasons; we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
