Shake off the winter chill and welcome the sunshine with the Spring Fling Race Series — the hottest 5K / 10K event of the season! Lace up, grab your crew, and join us for a morning full of music, medals, and Bigfoot magic. From our littlest Yetis in the Kids Dash to seasoned runners chasing PRs, there’s something for everyone!

• Aid Stations: Aid stations throughout the course

Race Distances

• Kids Dash (10 & Under): A fun 20-yard dash for our little Yetis! Includes a race tee and a special Bigfoot Kids Dash finisher medal. Not timed — pure fun!
• 1 Mile: Perfect for all ages and experience levels. Includes a race tee and finisher medal. Not chip-timed.
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip-timed with awards and plenty of energy! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy. 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin. Standard age group awards.
• 10K (6.22 miles): Double the distance, double the glory! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy. 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin. Standard age group awards.

• Kids Dash: 7:55 AM (meet at start line)

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only): Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

Volunteer then Run Schedule:

• Arrive 1.5 hrs early to help with packet pickup
• Run the 5K
• Help hand out awards post-race

Limited to first 5 sign-ups only. (Does not include Full Race Volunteer benefits below.)

Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role)

Perfect for those who want to help but not run this time. Volunteers will not participate in the race and receive:

• T-shirt: Bigfoot race shirt
• Access: VIP race access
• Incentive: Choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon digital gift card

All volunteers check in at the Registration Tent 1.5 hours before start time.

Volunteer Roles & Ratings

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners!
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks).
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.
• Turtle / Sweeper: Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.
• Weather Policy: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start.
• Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).
