Event Overview

We are officially halfway to the Art Car IPA 5K, presented by UHD! So let's party, run and celebrate with our friends at the Flying Saucer - Downtown!

Details

• Date: October 4, 2026
• Location: 705 Main Street, Houston, TX
• Registration Fee: $35
• Inclusions: Guided and marked 3ish mile run/walk, three tasty brews from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, a pint glass, and a Texas Tamale Company breakfast.

Schedule

• Check-in: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
• Run/Walk Start: 9:00 AM
• Post-Event Celebration: Eat, drink, and celebrate Saint Arnold with delicious tamales.
• Note: The outdoor patio at the Flying Saucer has been extended!

Pace Groups

• All Paces Welcome: We encourage everyone to join, regardless of speed!
• Pace Leaders: At least three pace leaders will be present each week.
• Route: Roughly 3ish miles, starting at the Saucer, running/walking to Saint Arnold and back.
• Butt Pincher: There will be a pace leader at the end to ensure everyone stays together!

Parking and Weather Policy

• Parking: Free in downtown Houston on Sundays!
• Event Status: All social run/walks occur rain or shine.
• Weather Contingency: If weather prevents us from running, we will still enjoy eating and drinking beer!
