Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon - 2026

Race Overview

The Apple Valley Reverse Triathlon will be held at the beautiful Civic Center Park and Aquatic Center! The Reverse Triathlon will start with a 5k run, transition into a 12 mile road course on a bicycle, and finish with a 150 yd pool swim. (E Bikes are not allowed)

Kids Triathlon and 5K

The Apple Valley kids triathlon will consist of:

• 1k run: A fun race for younger participants.
• 1 mile bike ride: An exciting bike segment.
• 50 yard swim: A short swim to complete the event.

Last but not least, the event will also include a stand-alone 5K for those runners at heart.

Awards and Recognition

• Chip Timed: All events are chip timed.
• Participation Awards: Kids triathlon participants receive medals and T-shirts.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards start time 9:30 am.
• Medals: For top 3 overall male/female, and top 3 in each division for Triathlon event, and top 3 male/female in 5K event.

Race Day Info/Packet Up:

A VALID ID IS REQUIRED FOR PACKET PICKUP

• Friday Packet Pick Up: 9/25/2026 - 3 - 6pm
• Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up: Opens at 5:30 am
• Registration Closure: Race Day registration closes at 6 am
• Start Time: Triathlon/5K Start time at 7:00 am and Kids Tri Check in at 7:30 am, Kids Tri Start time at 9:00 am

Safety Regulations

• Helmets: Required for the Bike Portion of the race.
• Swim Attire: Proper swim attire is required for the Swim Portion of the race.

Parking

Athletes can park in the Town Hall Parking Lot off Dale Evans Parkway/Westlund Way or in the Super Target shopping center.
