Jingle Bell 6K Run/2M Walk

🔔🎅🎄 Put your bells on for the 23nd annual Jingle Bell 6K run/2-Mile walk! Proceeds from the race benefit the “Miracle Fund” which provides assistance to improve the quality of life of long-term care residents of the Respiratory Care Center at Rockcastle Regional in Mt. Vernon, KY! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ 🎁 

 

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026
• Place: Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, Mt. Vernon, KY
• 6K Run/ 2-Mile Walk to begin at 8:30 a.m. EST 
• Race-day registration to begin at 7:50 a.m.
• $25 pre-registration fee - deadline Monday, November 23
• $30 registration fee from Nov. 20 through 8:15 a.m. race day
• Race 12 of 12 in the 2026 County-Wide Stride race series

 

Course

The 6K Run/Walk highlights historic Renfro Valley. Aid and water station will be located at the turnaround. Officials will direct and supervise the course. The Run/Walk will start and finish at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center.

• Free commemorative long-sleeve shirt guaranteed to all participants pre-registered by Nov. 23. (It is recommended that you pre-register to guarantee your shirt. Shirts available on race day in limited sizes and quantities.)
• Santa’s Surprise Gift Grab – as always, gift packages will be scattered along the course for participants to scoop up for cash, gifts or coal!
• Hospitality area with refreshments and snacks
• Costume Contest: award will be given for the best holiday-themed costume.

 

Awards

• Overall male and female race winner and top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79, 80+
• Top three male and female walkers (walkers also eligible for age group awards) 
• Please note: to be fair to competitive walkers, if you plan to register as a walker, you must walk the entire race. If you plan on running and walking, please register as a runner.

 

NEW! Student Strides 2026

• ALL students age 4-18 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
• Students who complete at least 7 races will receive a $25 gift card and custom t-shirt at the end of the 2026 series! 
• Students must run or walk to be eligible for awards and incentives.
