Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Event Overview

You're invited to attend the 13th Annual Chamber of Commerce Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk that will take place on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Come out for a day of fun and racing in the Pulaski County area as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day ..... Lake Cumberland Style !!!

Participation Details

• Open to All: The Shamrock Shuffle welcomes participants of all ability levels, from runners who are beginning their annual running and fitness regimen to seasoned veterans.
• Course: The course is a measured 5K race, and professional chip timing will be used to ensure race time accuracy.
• T-Shirt: Race participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. (Shirts will only be guaranteed for people who register before race day)
• Location: The race will begin and end at The Chamber of Commerce office, located at 236 East Mount Vernon Street, Somerset, KY.

Cost Information

• Early Registration: January 1st - March 3rd = $25.00
• Pre-Race Registration: March 4th - March 13th = $30.00
• Race Day Registration: (March 14th) = $32.00
• Chip Timing: Chip timing will be used at this year's Shamrock Shuffle.

Participant Bag Includes

• Event Bib Number: Each participant will receive a bib number.
• Event T-Shirt: Available in Men's & Women's sizes.
• Course Map: An overview of the race route will be provided.
• Commemorative Items: Additional goodies may be included in the bag.

Awards and Recognition

• Overall Awards: Plaques will be awarded to the overall "Top 3 Runners" for both men and women.
• Age Group Awards: Top finisher in each age group for both Male and Female will receive an awesome award medal. Age Overall race winners are removed from the age categories.
• Age Groups: Male and Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Team Awards: The Fastest Team and the Largest Team will be awarded Plaques.

Additional Information

There will be a costume contest for "best dressed" ..... so go ahead and get your best St. Patrick's Day themed outfit ready for race day.

Proceeds from the race will go to support our local business community through Chamber programs.
