Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Event Overview

You're invited to attend the 13th Annual Chamber of Commerce Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk that will take place on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Come out for a day of fun and racing in the Pulaski County area as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day... Lake Cumberland Style!!!

Participation Details

• All Abilities Welcome: The Shamrock Shuffle welcomes participants of all ability levels, from runners who are beginning their annual running and fitness regimen to seasoned veterans.
• Course Measurement: The course is a measured 5K race, and professional chip timing will be used to ensure race time accuracy.
• Commemorative Shirt: Race participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. (Shirts will only be guaranteed for people who register before race day)
• Location: The race will begin and end at The Chamber of Commerce office located at 236 East Mount Vernon Street, Somerset, KY.

Cost Structure

• Early Registration: January 1st - March 3rd = $25.00
• Pre-Race Registration: March 4th - March 13th = $30.00
• Race Day Registration: March 14th = $32.00
• Chip Timing: Chip timing will be used at this year's Shamrock Shuffle.

Participant Packet Inclusions

• Event Bib Number: Each participant will receive their own bib number for the race.
• Event T-Shirt: Available in Men's & Women's sizes.
• Course Map: A map detailing the race course will be provided.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Plaques will be awarded to the overall "Top 3 Runners" for both men and women.
• Age Group Medals: Top finisher in each age group for both Male and Female will receive an awesome award medal. Age overall race winners are removed from the age categories.
• Age Groups: Male and Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Team Awards

• Fastest Team: The Fastest Team will be awarded Plaques.
• Largest Team: The Largest Team will also receive Plaques.
• Team Size: Teams must have, but are not limited to, 5 members.
• Fastest Team Award: Based on the cumulative times of the fastest 5 finishers on each team.
