Shamrock Shuffle 5K

Event Overview

You're invited to attend the 13th Annual Chamber of Commerce Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk that will take place on Saturday, March 13th, 2027, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Come out for a day of fun and racing in the Pulaski County area as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day ..... Lake Cumberland Style!

Participation Details

• Open to All Levels: The Shamrock Shuffle welcomes participants of all ability levels, from runners who are beginning their annual running and fitness regimen to seasoned veterans.
• Race Course: The course is a measured 5K race, and professional chip timing will be used to ensure race time accuracy.
• Commemorative Shirt: Race participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. (Shirts will only be guaranteed for people who register before race day)
• Organizers: The Pulaski County Shamrock Shuffle is organized by the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and held in Somerset.

Race Activities and Awards

• Costume Contest: There will be a costume contest for "best dressed" so go ahead and get your best St. Patrick's Day themed outfit ready for race day.
• Proceeds: Proceeds from the race will go to support our local business community through Chamber programs.
• Awards: Plaques will be awarded to the overall "Top 3 Runners" for both men and women.
• Medals: Top finisher in each age group for both Male and Female will receive an awesome award medal. Age Overall race winners are removed from the age categories.

Cost Structure

• Early Registration: January 1st - March 3rd = $25.00
• Late Registration: March 4th - March 13th = $30.00
• Race Day Registration: Race Day (March 13th) = $32.00
• Timing: Chip timing will be used at this year's Shamrock Shuffle.

Participant Bag Contents

• Event Bib Number: Each participant will receive a race bib number.
• Event T-Shirt: Shirts available in Men's & Women's sizes.
• Course Map: All participants will receive a course map.

Age Categories and Team Awards

• Age Groups: Male and Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Team Awards: The Fastest Team and the Largest Team will be awarded Plaques.
• Team Size: Teams must have, but are not limited to, 5 members.
• Fastest Team Award: Will be based on the cumulative times of the fastest 5 finishers on each team.
