THE BOBCAT SCORCHER IS RESCHEDULED FOR THIS FALL. NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
Join us for one of Bluffton's favorite summer traditions—the 15th Annual Bobcat Scorcher 5K Run/Walk! This family-friendly community event welcomes runners, walkers, students, alumni, and neighbors of all ages to come together in support of local youth and education.

- Date: Saturday, August 8th
- Time: 8:00 AM start
- Location: Bluffton High School
- Course: Scenic and fast route through the heart of Bluffton
Purpose and Beneficiaries
Proceeds from the event benefit:
- Bluffton High School Cross Country Team
- Grace Sulak Scholarship Foundation
- Scorcher Senior Student Scholarship Fund
- Support for local students and student-athletes
Awards and Registration
The first 300 registered participants will receive:
- Commemorative tri-blend race shirt
- Custom finisher medals for overall male and female champions
- Awards for the top three finishers in each age division:
- Age divisions: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be held on Friday, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palmetto Running Company in Bluffton. Gather your friends, bring the family, and be part of a Bluffton tradition that continues to bring our community together year after year.
