Crystal Run the Lake 2026 with virtual options

Race Overview

Join us in the 30th anniversary celebration of this family-friendly 5 mile run and/or 3 mile run/walk around beautiful Crystal Lake in person on August 1, 2026 or to participate virtually, run any place you want to participate, including your own treadmill (through August 8th, 2026)!

Event Details

• Start Times: Start times of events allow you to run both the 5 mile and 3 mile if registered for both.
• T-Shirts: Limited edition T-shirt in your size guaranteed to those who register by July 6, 2026. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.
• Packet Pickup: On the morning of the race - 5 mile packet pickup from 7:00 am - 7:45 am, 3 mile packet pickup from 8:15 am - 9:00 am.
• Awards: Placement awards for 1st - 3rd place and door prizes will be awarded after the race.

Pricing

• 5 Mile and 3 Mile: Now until July 6th - $25 includes t-shirt. July 7th to July 31st - $30, t-shirts available as supplies last. Race day August 1st - $35 shirts not available.
• Combined 5 Mile and 3 Mile: Now until July 6th - $40 includes t-shirt. July 7th to July 31st - $45, t-shirts available as supplies last. Race day August 1st - $50 shirts not available.
• Virtual Events: Now until July 6th - $25 includes t-shirt. July 7th to August 1st - $35, t-shirts available as supplies last.

Results & Timing

• Live Results: Results will be live during the race and available on this website.
• Timing: The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Additional Information

• Virtual Participation: Virtual run times may be turned in through August 8, 2026. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
• Age Groups: 1st - 3rd place awards will be given in various age categories from 8 and under to 90 and over.
