• Event: Annual Bramble Ramble 5K Trail Run/Walk & Annual Michael J. Seaman Memorial 10K Run

• Location: Montcalm Community College, Sidney, MI
• Proceeds: Benefit MCC’s Kenneth J. Lehman Nature Trails for improvement, community outreach, and education

Course Description

• Type: Trail race with obstacles such as tree roots, rocks, and slippery platforms
• Scenery: A mix of forest and fields
• Surface: Grass, dirt, boardwalk, gravel road, and pavement
• Terrain: Variability from flat to hilly

Trail Running Tips

• GPS Limitations: GPS may not work well under forest cover
• Race Length: Trackers may show race lengths under or over 3.1 miles
• Distance Adjustment: Race distance may vary by about 0.1 miles depending on your running path
• Start/Finish: Robert E. Marston Pavilion (behind the Greenhouse)

• Restrooms: Available at the Instruction North Building

Awards

• Overall Winners: Male and Female winners for both 5K and 10K will receive unique artwork by local artist, Cheryl Meyer
• Age Group Winners: Each race will have a yet to be determined award
• Award Ceremony: After the race, typically starting by 10:30 a.m.

Race Bling

• Medals: All participants will receive medals
• Stickers: Participants can choose from Bramble Ramble Stickers

Additional Prize Drawing

• Participants: All race participants and guests will receive an entry
• Prizes: Local hand-crafted wooden furniture donated by Kenneth J. Lehman
• Past Items: Have included chairs, small tables, benches, and coat racks
• Presence Required: Must be present to win

Parking Information

• Directions: Proceed past the Activities Building and Administrative Building
• Parking Lot: Turn Left (West) into the parking lot and park near the Greenhouse

Registration

• Late Registration: Available on race day from 7:45-8:45 a.m. for $30
