🏃♂️ Race Overview
The Harvest Hustle Fall Classic 5K will be held Saturday October 10th, 2026. This event has continued to grow over the years and is a long-standing part of Lowell's Harvest Festival. The focus of this event is to encourage families to lead healthy and active lives together. There is no better way to kick off a weekend of celebration than with a little exercise! So lace up your shoes and get ready for the Harvest Hustle 5K Run / Walk.
⏱️ Chip Timing
WE WILL HAVE CHIP TIMING AGAIN THIS YEAR!! After the great response in 2026, we have decided to again use chip timing!
📍 Race Location
The race will take place in the SAME location as it did in 2025.
- Start Point: Near the North Grand River Riverfront Park in the East side of the parking lot of Impact Church.
- Course: Progress on the Lowell Area Trailway, through both the North and South Grand River Riverfront Parks.
- Highlights: Crossing over (twice!) the beautiful Lowell Wooden Footbridge.
- Terrain: The course has some asphalt and some gravel.
💲 Registration Fees
- 18 and under: $20
- Adults: $35* (*if two adults in a family register, children of that family may participate at a substantial discount!)
- Family Discount: Please contact Barb Hoogenboom directly at hoogenbb@:gvsu.edu to request a family discount.
🎟️ Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will occur on Friday, October 9th, from 4:30-6 PM at Ivy Rehabilitation in Lowell, and the morning of the race, from 7:30-8:15am near the starting area.
