🌳 Event Announcement

We are excited to announce the 11th annual Franciscan Rhythms Trail Run on October 5th. We're expanding our fundraising efforts to include our restorative land projects at the Lowell campus. Over the years, having access to the land has contributed greatly to our music therapy sessions. The healthy, diverse ecologies and peaceful, vibrant atmosphere of our campus provides a safe space for our clients to grow.

🌲 About the Trail Run

The Franciscan Rhythms Trail Run allows participants to experience a variety of our restorative projects on our 230-acre campus. As they enjoy the course, they will be engulfed in deciduous woodland, pine forest, and our prairie restored to contain all native Michigan plants. Participants will pass a rain garden that creates space for wetland species. Visitors have spotted many beautiful birds, insects, and woodland animals: even an adventurous beaver!

• Live Music: There will be live music along the trails.
• Fresh-Baked Goods: Enjoy treats made by the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist.
• Family-Friendly: It is an event that the whole family can enjoy.
• Fundraising Goal: Our goal for this year is $40,000 to ensure Music Therapy access for all.

❓ FAQ's

🗓️ Can you register the day of the race?

Yes, there is. Saturday, October 4th from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. at the Center in Lowell. Late Registration fee is $40 for the 5K Run and walk.

🐾 Are strollers/dogs allowed on the Trail?

Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the Trail.

🗺️ Is there a map of the trail?

Yes, maps are provided inside the center at the reception desk.

🔄 Can I update my registration information?

Yes you can, by logging back into RunSignUp and going to your registration.

👶 Are there any age restrictions for the 5K Run/Walk?

No age restrictions - you have to be able to complete the 5K Trail.

🛤️ Is any of the race path paved?

Yes, but only the starting line area. The rest of the Trail is either wooded or through fields and our prairie.

🍞 Can I purchase bread?

All Bread purchases must be made in the Event Store.
