The 12th annual Franciscan Rhythms 5K Trail Run & Walk benefiting our music therapy program and land restoration efforts will take place Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Event Overview

• Location: 11650 Downes St. NE, Lowell, MI
• All-Ages: This event is suitable for participants of all fitness levels.
• Scenic Path: Experience a variety of restorative projects on a scenic path through our Lowell campus.
• Wildlife: Participants may spot birds, insects, and woodland animals along the course.

Live Music

• Music Stations: Live music featuring Irish, rock, and folk will energize the atmosphere.
• Inspiration: Enjoy the motivation provided by musicians along the trail.

Race Schedule

• Arrival Time: Recommended arrival is at 8:30 a.m. for registration.
• Children’s Fun Run: Starts at 9 a.m.
• 5K Start: The run & walk will commence at 9:15 a.m.
• Post-Race: Enjoy water and snacks, including homemade cinnamon rolls, after the race.

Registration Information

• Fees: $35 for 5K, $15 for kids’ race online until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3.
• Same-Day Registration: Available on-site from 7:45-8:45 a.m. for $40.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by September 16, 2026, to ensure a t-shirt.
• Virtual Option: Available for those who cannot attend on Oct. 3 but want to support the cause.

Fundraising Goals

• Goal: Raise $40,000 for our music therapy scholarship fund.
• Support Services: Funds will help cover costs for families when insurance does not.
• Land Stewardship: Continued care for our Lowell campus, promoting growth and healing.
• Make a Donation: Contribute by visiting donation online.

Homemade Bread Orders

• Bread Options: Whole wheat, oatmeal, or dilly casserole bread available for $10 per loaf.
• Pick Up: Orders can be collected at our Lowell Campus.
• Order Online: Place your order through our online store.

• Help Needed: Volunteers are sought for preparation, setup, and cleanup.

• Strollers and Dogs: Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the trail.
