EquiSol Race Series (A Park for All Seasons) - Winter Solstice 5k
Overview
- Welcome: Welcome to the new race series in 2026 benefitting the Gwinnett Parks Foundation.
- Race Series: This race is the 4th of 4 races in the series with one in each quarter falling on or close to the Equinox or Solstice.
- Medal Structure: Each medal will magnetically link together to create a large medal map of Gwinnett County and its parks.
- Virtual Option: If you miss one, we will open up a virtual option for you to run and receive your missing medal.
Medals and Referrals
- On-Site Medals: The first 200 runners will receive medals on-site.
- Additional Orders: If we have additional runners, we will order more and ship them or have them available for pick up.
- Referral Bonus: You will receive a $20 refund if you refer 5 others.
- Organizers: Performance Race Services and the Gwinnett Park Foundation are collaborating for this event.
Foundation Background
- Mission: The Gwinnett Parks Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
- Objective: The foundation assists the needs of Gwinnett Parks & Recreation.
- Establishment: Founded in 2001 to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
- Collaboration: Works with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, private citizens, businesses, and government.

- Shirts: Guaranteed till 11/30/2026, after that, they are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the registration table.
