It's time for our Fun in the Sun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30 AM
- Half Marathon Cutoff: 10:45 AM
- Early Start: Please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
Location
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.). Please do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
Included in Registration
- Finisher Medals: Custom medals for everyone!
- Goodie Bags: Drawstring goodie bags for participants.
- Free Photos: Photos will be posted on our Facebook page after the event.
- Snack Assortment: Assortment of snacks and samples.
Race Information
- Pacing: Pacers and crew are welcome at any time.
- Course: 5k out and back route, 5k map.
- Loop Structure: 10k is 2 x 5k loops, 15k is 3 x 5k loops, Half Marathon is 3 x 4.36 mi loop: Half Marathon map.
- Relaxed Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun and personal racing experience!

Group discounts for 5 or more people by emailing us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for group registration.
Important Notes
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon, email for more time.
- Results: All results will be posted after the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com
- Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS, NO BANDITS.
