Race Description

• Participation: The 3rd annual Adventure Awaits 5k is open to all ages, and beginners are welcome.
• Scenery: Enjoy the atmosphere at Riverfront Park while walking or running.
• Family Friendly: This event is perfect for avid runners, walkers, and families. Strollers are welcome, but no dogs allowed.

Race Logistics

• Course: A mix of trail and road experience with available restrooms and at least one water stop.
• Packet Pickup: Pre-race on August 28th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (Location TBD): Day-of pickup from 7:30 am to 8:15 am.
• Ceremony Schedule: Flag ceremony at 8:30 am, Kids Fun Run at 8:45 am, and 5k run/walk at 9:00 am.
• Fees: Early registration is $25: $30 at packet pickup. Cash or checks only on August 28th and 29th.

Awards

• Ceremony: An awards ceremony will follow shortly after the race.
• Categories: Awards for top men's and women's categories across various age groups.
• Top Honors: Overall Top Man and Woman will receive a special prize.

Kids’ Fun Run

• Age Group: For youth approximately ages 2-10.
• Distance: About 400 meters, taking place at 8:45 am.
• Prizes: Every child participating will receive a prize.
• Playground: The park features a playground for kids to enjoy!

Chip Timing

• Timing Service: This race is chip-timed by Falcon Race Timing.
