Owego Strawberry Festival - Rock & Run 5K 2026

🍓 Race Overview

Celebrate the 44th Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

The Strawberry Festival Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 18, 2026 at the Hickories Park in Owego.

📅 Race Schedule

• 4:30 - Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration-location at the bandstand area.
• 5:15 - Kid's Fun Run - all kid, 12 and under, must register with a parent.
• 6:00 - 5K Race starts. Cool 2025 Strawberry Festival Race medal for every 5K participant.
• Annual Medal - All 5K participants that sign up will receive the annual 2026 Strawberry Festival Run Medal!

🏃‍♂️ Kid's Fun Run

Ages 12 and under. Runners must register and have a parent sign for them to enter the race, so come early. Fun Run racers will receive a numbered bib and a medal!

⚠️ Safety Reminder

Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!

There will be a lot of people parking and gathering around the band stand area. Kids may be running their Fun Run. There will be orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race, and help with safety. Please DRIVE SLOWLY entering the park.

👕 Tee Shirts

• Discount: Tee shirts are available at a discount for runners/walkers that register on Run Sign Up!
• Event Pricing: Tee shirts will also be available for sale at the 5K race at event pricing.

🎶 Music and Festivities

Music and festivities start at 5:00.

Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand. Live music, vendors and ice cream and food trucks until 9:00!

🍦 Delicious Treats

• Ice Cream Works: will be bringing their ice cream truck! Yum!
• Pitstop Popcorn: will be there! Great popcorn treats!
• "Beef on Weck": Food Truck

🎉 More Festival Events

Then more Strawberry Festival events that will happen in the Village of Owego near the Courthouse:

• Friday night, June 19: starting at 5:00 pm, music, vendors, food and fireworks in the Village.
• Saturday, June 20: in the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 9:30, vendors, food, entertainment all day!
