Celebrate the 44th Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

Schedule of Events

• 4:30 PM: Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration - location at the bandstand area.
• 5:15 PM: Kid's Fun Run - all kids, 12 and under, must register with a parent.
• 6:00 PM: 5K Race starts with a 2026 Strawberry Festival Race medal for every 5K participant.
• Annual Medal: All 5K participants that sign up will receive the annual 2026 Strawberry Festival Run Medal!

Kid's Fun Run

• Ages: 12 and under. Runners must register and have a parent sign for them to enter the race.
• Registration: Please come early. Fun Run racers will receive a numbered bib and a medal!
• Start Time: Fun Run Race starts at 5:15.
• Careful Entry: Drive slowly when entering Hickories Park, as kids may be running their Fun Run.

Race Day Safety

• Congestion Prevention: Runners only in front 2 lines. Slower runners and walkers with strollers should start further back.
• Thank You: Line up where you might expect to finish for a smooth start for everyone.
• Tee Shirts: Available at a discount for runners/walkers that register on Run Sign Up!
• Event Pricing: Tee shirts will also be available for sale at the 5K race.

Music and Festivities

• Start Time: Music and festivities start at 5:00 PM.
• Post Race: Join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand.
• Vendors: Enjoy ice cream and food trucks until 8:00 PM!
• Ice Cream Works: Will be bringing their ice cream truck!

Food and Vendors

• Pitstop Popcorn: Great popcorn treats!
• The Cellar Restaurant: Will be cooking on site!

• Friday, June 19: Starting at 5:00 PM, music, vendors, food, and fireworks in the Village.
• Saturday, June 20: Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 9:30 AM, with vendors, food, and entertainment all day!
