Race Details
This is our favorite 5K of the SUMMER! When the season has slowed down, the fun in Florida never does, so hydrate, lace up your shoes, and join us for this great summer 5K. Of course if it gets too hot we’ll add a “race week one mile” that you can transfer into on race morning if you’d like to beat the heat.
- Goodies: Awesome finisher’s medal, free beer, electronic timing
- Awards: Faster runners will receive awards
- Shirts: Coveted RUN FLORIDA Dunedin Running shirts
- Management: Hosted by Team Mannino, experienced since 2004
Arrival Information
Plan to arrive at HOB Brewing Company no earlier than 7:30 a.m. in order to allow our volunteers plenty of time to get set up to have you all checked in quickly and efficiently before we begin the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
- Kids Dash: Free event at 8:15 a.m., no registration needed.
- Weather Policy: If over 89 degrees, 1-mile runners will start at 8:25 a.m.
- Email Notification: Receive an email with detailed info by 4 pm before the race.
- Contact: Text 727-CAN-RACE if you do not receive your email.
What to Bring
We only offer light snacks at this venue but you are more than welcome to bring coolers, food, and snacks on your own.
- Waivers: Please print, sign, and submit your waiver on race day.
- Parking: Free at the Artisan Parking Garage, 356 Monroe Street.
- Safety: Please remain alert on the course; police are stationed at crossings.
- Bib Visibility: Wear your bib on the front for timing and safety.
Post-Race Information
As you complete your run/walk and approach the finish line, pick up your HOPS finisher’s medal as you cross the finish line.
- Top Finishers: Awards for the first 15 males and females.
- Restrooms: Available inside HOB Brewing Company.
- Food: Light snacks provided, venture to downtown for dining options.
- Community Focus: Benefits teens from Dunedin High under Coach Kyle Goodnow.
