Race Details

• Celebration: Honor ALL of our Veterans with this annual event for all ages.
• Route: Starts and ends near the VFW, providing great photo opportunities.
• Finisher's Medals: All American themed, commemorating those who have served.
• Kid's Dash: A stroller-friendly run at 8:10 a.m., with children grouped by size.

Course Information

• 10K Course: A 2-loop course of the 5K route, popular for training.
• 5K Start: Begins 2 minutes after the 10K at 8:30 a.m., on the fully paved Pinellas Trail.
• Participant Medals: All registrants receive a substantial American finisher's medal.
• Shirts: 5K and 10K runners receive a RUN FLORIDA promotional shirt: no shirts for youth distances.

Race Management and Safety

• Results: Posted online after the race at www.727CanRace.com: non-competitive event.
• Timing: Electronic race splitter system in use.
• Safety: Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies will manage intersections along the course.
• Email Notification: Registrants receive bib number and parking instructions the day before the race.

• Support: Encourage runners to cheer on veterans along the route.
• Parking: Free at Hale Center and Dunedin Library.
