Event Overview
The CARE 5k/10K walk run began in 2009 and has become a yearly favorite since. This is our 17th year!
Race Details
- Type: Out and back race
- Route: Mostly road for the 5K, mix of road and trail for the 10K
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- Finish Time: Around 9:30 AM
Awards and Timing
- Awards: Given to winners in age groups in 10 year increments
- Prize: CARE dollars from our $300 level sponsors
- Award Ceremony: Happening at 9:15 AM
- Timing: All participants will be timed!
Registration and Amenities
- Shirts: Race shirts included, available in unisex and youth sizes
- Size Guarantee: Guaranteed sizes if you register before June 20th
- Registration Fees: Adult registration is $35: children 17 and under is $25
- Refreshments: Water will be on the course and at the finish line with post-race snacks

New this year, all participants will receive a filled water bottle at the end of the race donated by Camp David Realty!
