CARE 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run

Event Overview

The CARE 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run began in 2009 and has become a yearly favorite since. This is our 17th year!

Race Details

• Date: July 4, 2026
• Location: 43430 Kavanaugh Road, Cable, WI
• Race Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Finish Time: Around 9:30 AM

Course Information

• Race Type: Out and back course
• 5K Course: Mostly road
• 10K Course: A mix of road and trail
• Awards: Given to winners in age groups in 10-year increments

Registration Information

• Adult Registration Fee: $35
• Child Registration Fee: $25 (for ages 17 and under)
• Registration Deadline for Guaranteed Sizes: June 20th
• Included: Race shirts in unisex and youth sizes

Post-Race Amenities

• Timing: All participants will be timed!
• Awards Ceremony: Scheduled for 9:15 AM
• Refreshments: Water will be available on the course and at the finish line, along with post-race snacks.
• New Feature: All participants will receive a filled water bottle at the end of the race donated by Camp David Realty!
