Reagan Run

Event Overview

This is the 26th year anniversary of the Reagan Run. The race will be on July 4, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. This is a unique 5K race that winds throughout the downtown, into wooded areas, and along the river. It benefits various not-for-profit organizations.

Packet Pick-up

• Date & Time: Friday, July 3rd - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dixon YMCA, 110 N. Galena Avenue
• In-person Registration: Available during packet pick-up
• Payment Methods: Credit card/Debit available on 7/3 and 7/4

Race Day Schedule

• Registration Hours: 6:30 - 7:30 AM: Race-day registration and check-in.
• Kids Fun Run: 7:30 AM: Kids Fun Run start
• 5K Start: 8:00 AM: 5K start

Important Notes

Please - no strollers and no pets in the 5K. Thank you.

Awards

Awards presented after race. Overall winners do not receive age group awards.

• Overall Awards: Unique award to first overall male and female
• Age Group Awards: First three places, each division, male and female: 10/under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
• Masters Awards: Masters overall for Male and Female

Walkers

Walkers are welcome and encouraged. For safety reasons, walkers will line up behind the runners. Official times will be available for persons finishing in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
