Starting Information

• Location: Starting line is in front of Bureau Valley Elementary Walnut Campus.
• Check In: at park tent south of the school.

Fundraising Purpose

All proceeds will be donated to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research.

Race Features

• Distance: 3.1 MILES, accurately measured.
• Timing: Chipped timing with a gun start.
• Support: Mile marker clocks, aid stations, traffic control, and refreshments.
• Results: Computerized results!

Participation

WALKERS ARE WELCOME & ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE!!

Check-In & Registration

• Time: 6:45-7:45 am, south of school at tent by park shelter.
• Arrival: Please arrive early.

Entry Fee

• Cost: $20.00 and guarantee t-shirt if received by Friday, June 26.
• Payment: Make checks payable to Running Through ALS LTD.

• Categories: Male & Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies.
• Special Awards: Trophies to first male & female Walnut finishers.
• Prizes: $100 to 1st Place Male and Female: $50 to 2nd Place Male and Female.
• Medals: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in age groups from 10 & under to 75 & over.

• Wheelchair Division: We will continue our Wheel Chair Division!!!
• Timing: Provided by Racing Expectations.
• Results: Posted after the race at www.racingexpectations.com and www.starvedrockrunners.org.
• Policies: No pets or bicycles allowed.
• Cancellation: In case of race cancellation (due to events beyond our control) we thank you for your donation.

Awards Ceremony

Awards ceremony to follow. Restroom facilities and locker room to shower are available on site.
