Breaking Barriers 5k Run/Walk

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Breaking Barriers 5k Run/Walk.  The event will begin at Lake Eva Park, race around the beautiful lake and end at back at the park.  Join us for a fun-filled event as we unite the community for fitness, fun, and fundraising.  There will also be a FREE untimed 5k Run/Walk for those aged 10 and Under providing an opportunity for everyone to participate.  Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is for everyone!  All participants registered before March 27, 2026 will receive a custom t-shirt and all finishers will receive a beautiful Finishers Medal. 

Proceeds from this event will benefit Puzzle’s Love Autism Foundation's mission to support individuals with autism, unique abilities and their families through resources, education, and an inclusive community. 

Awards:

Overall Awards:  Trophies will be given to the Overall top 3 male and female finishers.

Age Group Awards:  Age Group Awards will be given for Top Male and Female in each of the following Age Groups: 

10 and Under, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41- 50, 51-60, 61-70 and 70+.
