The NCPD Police Officer Memorial 5K Run will take place on August 10, 2026, at Eisenhower Park. The start and finish will be located at the Field House in East Meadow, NY.

Event History
In 1993, the Nassau Police Running Club held a 5K run in memory of Nassau County Police Officer Gary R. Farley, who tragically died in the line of duty. PO Farley was the first officer to lose his life in the line of duty since the inception of the Nassau Police Running Club in 1980.
Since 1993, the Nassau County Police has tragically lost many additional members who were serving the people they were sworn to protect.

- Support for Families: The club is committed to making sure all members and their families know we will never forget the sacrifice their loved ones have endured.
Scholarship Program
The Nassau County Police Officer Memorial Run is held annually, and proceeds from the event will be used to present scholarships in the names of our fallen officers.
- Target Audience: Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors.
- Educational Support: The scholarships will support attendance to secondary education.
- Running Club Involvement: Recipients must be involved in their school's running clubs.
