Mission Statement

• Goal: Provide education and resources to combat food insecurity in our local communities.
• Funding: 100% of funds raised support the PERC shelter in Union City, NJ.
• Community Focus: We believe that communities are stronger when they come together.
• Activities: Includes a one-mile fun run for kids and educational components around plant-based meals.

Important Notes

• Strollers/Pets: No strollers or pets allowed.
• Rain Date: November 16, 2025.
• Notification: Alerts by 12:00 am on November 15th if the race is moved to Sunday.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 a.m.: Registration/Check-In Opens at Weehawken Field.
• 8:00 a.m.: Prepare for the run! Stretch and hydrate.
• 8:15 a.m.: Staging for the 5K run at the Weehawken track.
• 8:30 a.m.: It's GO TIME for the run!
• 9:00 a.m.: Prepare for the walk! Stretch and hydrate.
• 9:15 a.m.: Staging for the 5K walk at the Weehawken track.
• 9:30 a.m.: It's GO TIME for the walk!
• 10:00 a.m.: Lineup and GO TIME for the 1 Mile Fun Run at the track!
• 10:30 a.m.: YOU DID IT! Time for awards, food demonstrations, prizes, music and more!
