Event Overview
- Location: Oak Ridge Park, fastest 5k course in New Jersey.
- Course: Double-loop, pancake flat, with cheering crowds.
- Perks: Loud music, oversized medals, personalized bibs, and free action pictures.
- Goal: Runners will have no choice but to PR.
Team Championship Details
- Teams: Boys (3/team), Girls (3/team), and Co-ed (4/team: 2 boys, 2 girls).
- Results: Times, not places, determine team standings.
- Assignment: Schools with more than three runners are assigned based on finish times.
- Categories: Top 3 runners form A Team, next 3 form B Team, etc.
Important Regulations
- Sanctioning: High school event sanctioned by NFHS.
- Restrictions: No clubs or unattached runners allowed in high school 5k races.
- Date: November 15, 2026 marks the last day of the NJSIAA cross country season.
Meet Schedule
- 10:00am: Open/Club 5k & New Jersey 8k XC Championships (men & women).
- 11:15am: 400m Dash.
- 11:20am: HS Girls 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned).
- 11:50am: HS Boys 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned).
- 12:15pm: Youth 3k (Grades 3-8).
Awards
- Medals: Awarded to top 30 in each 5k race.
- Champions: Awards to three team champions: Boys, Girls, Co-ed.
- Trophies: Awarded to top 3 Boys/Girls teams.
Entry Information
- Individual Entry: $20 Runner.
- Team Entry: $50 Boys, Girls, or Co-ed HS Team.
- Unlimited Entries: $250 Unlimited/gender: $500 Unlimited/both genders.
- Deadline: Entries due Tuesday, November 11th at 11:59pm through Milesplit or RunSignUp.
