Race Overview

• Event: Last Chance XC Championships is the perfect opportunity to PR on the fastest 5k course in New Jersey: Oak Ridge Park.
• Course: Features a double-loop, pancake flat setup with cheering crowds, loud music, oversized medals, personalized bibs, and free action pictures.
• Team Champions: Three champions will be crowned: boys (3/team), girls (3/team), and co-ed (4/team: 2 boys, 2 girls).
• Team Assignments: Schools entering more than three runners will be assigned teams based on finish times.

Sanctioning Information

• Final Day: November 15 is the last day of the NJSIAA cross country season.
• Event Status: This is a sanctioned high school event by the NFHS.
• Eligibility: No clubs or unattached runners are allowed in the high school 5k races.

Meet Schedule

• 10:00am: Open/Club 5k & New Jersey 8k XC Championships (men & women)
• 11:15am: 400m Dash
• 11:20am: HS Girls 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned)
• 11:50am: HS Boys 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned)
• 12:15pm: Youth 3k (Grades 3-8)

Awards

• Medals: Given to top 30 in each 5k race.
• Team Awards: Awards presented to three team champions: Boys, Girls, Coed.
• Trophies: Awarded to the top 3 boys/girls teams.

Entry Information

• Individual Entry: $20 per runner.
• HS Team Entry: $50 for Boys, Girls, or Coed HS Teams.
• Unlimited Entry: $250 for any single gender: $500 for both genders.
• Entry Deadline: Due by Tuesday, November 11th at 11:59pm.
