Kenton Rotary 0.5K

On April 1st at 5pm the inaugural Kenton Rotary 0.5K will be held at Braxton Brewery in Covington. At the 5:30 start time all the participants will walk a half a kilometer (0.5K) around the block. To make sure all our participants have enough energy to make it to the finish line, each one will be given a “special cannoli” from Del Gardo’s. When they cross the finish line everyone will go to The Loft on the second floor where they will be able to get a post-race adult beverage (21 and up) that is included in the registration.  A special prize will go to the winner of the race.  Is it 1st place?  Last place? Who’s to know? It is April Fool’s Day after all.

Participants will receive a t-shirt, wristband for attendance, a drink ticket, and light hors d'oeuvres after the “race”.   Proceeds raise from this event will go towards the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s commitment to send military veterans and guardians to Washington D.C. for a tour of the memorials with Tri-state Honor Flight.
