Lace up for A Race for Jackson, a 5K (3.1 miles) on March 21st, 2026 at Lady Bird Johnson Park — where every step brings Jackson closer to his miracle.

Jackson is an eleven-year-old boy who has faced major medical challenges since birth and spent years searching for a diagnosis. In 2023, doctors determined he needed a life-saving intestinal transplant. After multiple complications and life-support interventions, Jackson was officially listed for transplant and on August 18th 2025 received the transplant. Jackson still has a long road ahead.

This event proudly supports the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of Jackson. Funds raised help cover transplant-related expenses, travel, and the ongoing resources Jackson needs to keep fighting. Get ready for a fun-filled morning with an incredible DJ, face painting, and snacks and hydration along the way. This is a family-friendly event, and we invite everyone to come out and enjoy the day together. Packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM, with vendors and sponsors set up and ready by 7:30 AM.
