We’re from the Midwest. We love pancakes. We REALLY love maple syrup. So yes, let's celebrate with a 5K and a stack of pancakes with maple syrup waiting at the finish line! The Maple Syrup 5K is a fun, seasonal run on the wide, well maintained trails at the Brown County Reforestation Camp with a suitable route for road and trail runners to enjoy.
Participants of the 5K will receive from our Finisher Award presenting sponsor Anderson's Maple Syrup a 1.7mL of their delicious maple syrup when they cross the finish line and a beanie with their registration. Take your own bottle home with you! Race awards to the overall Male and Female in the 5K.
The 5K will be followed by the Mini Maple Fun Run for kids and family members to participate in. Participants of the Mini Maple Fun Run will receive a Maple chocolate chip cookie from the Maple Buzz Cafe when they cross the finish line!
All participants in the Maple Syrup 5K and Mini Maple get to celebrate with a post race Pancake Breakfast presented by Anderson's Maple Syrup which is included with their registration.
Participants of all abilities are welcome, whether competitive runners, walkers, hikers or families out for an active outdoor experience. This event is dog friendly as well so bring your dog out to walk and enjoy the 5K. Dogs will not be allowed in the ski lodge for the breakfast.
