Paramount Berner 5k Run/Walk

Event Overview

Join us for the 3RD ANNUAL Paramount Berner 5k Run/Walk hosted by Paramount Run Club (PRC) on Saturday, April 25th! The Paramount Berner 5k Run/Walk AKA “The Berner” is a timed Run/Walk Event first established in 2024 for the purpose of building community around and maintaining accessibility to fitness & health in the Greater Green Bay Area.

About "The Berner"

• Passion Project: "The Berner" has been a passion project for PRC from the very beginning.
• Community Focus: A means by which to highlight our community of runners and walkers and share it with so many others.
• Founding Principles: This running club was founded on the principles of community, friendship, and support centered around running.
• Safe Space: It’s become a safe space for people from all walks of life to come together and support and push each other to be the best versions of themselves.

Why "Berner"?

• Dog Lovers: We’re dog people, and a few of us actually have Bernese Mountain Dogs.
• Breed Traits: For those who already know this breed, they are happy, stubborn, and downright goofy dogs.
• Community Vibe: Kind of like we are at PRC - so it seemed like the perfect mascot for this race.
• Inclusion: Come as you are - fast, slow, runner, or walker. We’re just happy to build community with you!

Special Partnership

This year’s event is extra special: we’re partnering with Vickery Village’s May Day Celebration! Stick around after our event, because May Day begins right at 10 AM with tons to explore: a hand-selected group of Makers at the Makers Market, Suamico Bike’s Used Bike Sale, helmet fittings, and more fun throughout the village. So stay awhile with us and enjoy a pint or two at Station 1 afterwards.

Support Community

All proceeds will directly benefit Paramount Run Club in supporting local runners through assistance with race fees, race apparel, youth scholarships, and additional events that support the local running community keeping running accessible to all those in our area.
