Mission

• Support Veterans: Walk in support of veterans to choose LIFE.
• Community Empowerment: Together we can end veteran suicide and fortify families after service.
• Abundant Living: Live life abundantly with a community that hears, sees and recognizes the sacrifices of our HEROES.
• Family Involvement: Family and supporters of our veterans are encouraged to join.

• Celebration: Join a community-wide celebration and resources fair to help veterans and families make the journey back home after service.

Schedule

• 9 AM: Registration Opens and Community Resource Fair
• 10 AM: Opening Ceremonies
• 11:00 AM: Walk Commences on paths through Riverfront Park. Those walking with kids are welcome to bring scooters, wagons, bikes, or strollers.
• 12 PM: Victory Celebration and Closing Ceremony
• 1 PM: Resource Fair Closes

Community Impact

Heroes Walk brings awareness, solutions, and builds a connected community to end veteran suicide and homelessness by providing resources for wrap-around care for the whole veteran and their family or support system.

The content and event day will be mindful of the multigenerational crowd.
