Race Day Tips

It's going to be HOT! Please hydrate well before the race and run or walk at a pace that is safe for you.

A water station will be located at the entrance to Yowell Park, which you'll pass twice during the race.

Restrooms are available at the church, and signs will help direct you.

After you finish, follow the signs to our indoor cooling area, where you can cool down and enjoy snacks.

Course Safety

The Culpeper Town Police will be assisting along the course, but roads will remain open to traffic, so please use caution and follow the directions of volunteers and officers.

After crossing the finish line, please do not cross back through the finish chute, even if you're going back to encourage another participant.

Stay and Celebrate!

Be sure to stop by the finish-line photo booth and check out information highlighting Culpeper's important role in the American Revolution.

If you take photos during the event, we'd love to see them! Email them to [email protected], and be sure to keep an eye on the Culpeper Baptist Church Facebook page for race photos and videos.

See you at the starting line!   Dan
