🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Devil's Den 10 Miler is one of the best 10-mile races in Virginia! The in-person race starts at 7:15am on Sunday, August 17th.

📍 Location

The DD10 is set in beautiful Culpeper, centrally located between Washington, DC, and Charlottesville nestled in the Piedmont River Valley. It is a Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series race.

• Start/Finish: Starting and finishing in front of the Culpeper Sports Complex.
• Course: Mostly flat with some rolling hills.
• Certification: The USATF certified course is a loop with scenic views of the beautiful Culpeper countryside.
• Amenities: Plenty of close parking, restrooms, and cold watermelon and snacks at the finish.

• Form Improvement: According to Runner's World magazine, it fine tunes your form: Running a 10-miler takes more than an hour to complete, putting you into fatigue when flaws in running form become obvious.
• Shorter Preparation: It’s not a half marathon or a marathon: Running 10 miles is something you can prepare for in a much shorter time.
• Building Skills: It’s the right step up from a 10k distance: Racing at a distance in between helps build your race abilities prior to taking on a half marathon.

🗓️ Important Notice

Note: Register before July 22nd to be guaranteed a race shirt!

We strongly recommend that individuals under the age of 16 not run the race.
