NAMI Oshkosh 5K Overview
- Event Purpose: The NAMI Oshkosh 5K is a community event that raises awareness about mental health and suicide prevention and benefits NAMI Oshkosh and its programs.
- Free Services: All of their services are free. NAMI's mission is to support, educate, and advocate for all affected by mental illness.
- Commemorative Event: This event provides a place to celebrate and honor those who are living with a mental illness and remember those with mental health conditions who have passed away.
- Participation: Participants may sign up individually or as part of a team.
Event Schedule
- Friday, April 30, 2027: 5-7pm - (Optional) packet pickup at Menominee Elementary School.
- Saturday, May 1, 2027:
- 7:30-9:00am: Registration, information booths, mascots, activities, face painting, balloon art - Inside of Menominee Elementary School.
- 9:00am: Program begins.
Race Day Details
- 9:30am: 5k begins on Hazel Street and Melvin Street.
- After 5k: Stay for music, food, and community activities.
- 12:00pm: NAMI Oshkosh 5K ends. Go explore Menominee Park and Oshkosh with your family and friends.
