Event Overview
Bridging two communities together, the Fox Heritage Run is a unique and rewarding 8K running/walking event that winds along the Fox River and over the beautiful Nelson Family Heritage Crossing. This event is a great way to challenge yourself, enjoy a beautiful trail system, AND see some of the best views in two amazing communities!
Course Description
- Start Location: The course starts in the heart of Kaukauna.
- Trail Highlights: Winds along the Fox River and crosses the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing into Little Chute.
- Scenic Trails: Enjoy a portion of Heesakker Park trails and road miles in Little Chute and Kaukauna.
- Total Distance: The total distance is 8K, with an elevation gain of 103 feet.
Awards
- Overall Winners: The top three overall male and female winners will receive awards.
Additional Details
- Participation: The race is open to runners and walkers of all levels. We especially encourage families to join in the fun!
- Water Stations: There will be two water stations along the course.
- Medical Support: Medical support will be on hand at the start and finish lines.
- Timing: The race will be chip-timed. Finisher medals will be available for the 8K and Kids Run.
