Dayton Physicians Foundation for HOPE 5k Run/Walk

Overview

Dayton Physicians Foundation for Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps provide non-medical, financial assistance to patients undergoing cancer treatment in the communities we serve to allow them to focus on fighting cancer and recovery.

Assistance Provided

• Financial Aid: Cancer patients can receive assistance from the Foundation for their non-medical bills.
• Types of Support: This includes overdue rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation, and meals.
• Community Impact: This financial assistance immediately impacts cancer patients and their families.
• Focus on Recovery: It allows them to focus on their recovery in the Miami Valley communities we serve.

Event Details

• Date: Dayton Physicians 5k for HOPE 2026 is on Saturday August 1, 2026.
• Registration Deadline: The online registration deadline to receive a shirt at the 5k is July 20, 2026.
• In-Person Registration: Available on the day of the event at 8:00 am.
• Shirt Availability: Those who register online, or in person, after this deadline may not receive a shirt at the 5k.

Awards

• Medals: Medals will be handed out per age category at the end of the race.
• Gift Cards: A $100 gift card will be awarded to the overall male and female runners.
• Age Groups: Awards will be given for 1st Place Male and 1st Place Female, each receiving a $100 Gift Card.
• Additional Medals: Medals for the Top Male/Female per age group (0-11, 12-18, 19-39, 40-59, 60 and up).
