🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Dayton Physicians Foundation for Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps provide non-medical, financial assistance to patients undergoing cancer treatment in the communities we serve to allow them to focus on fighting cancer and recovery.

💡 Financial Assistance

• Type of Assistance: Cancer patients can receive assistance from the Foundation for their non-medical bills, such as overdue rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation to and from treatment appointments and meals for them and their families.
• Impact: This financial assistance immediately impacts cancer patients and their families in the communities we serve across the Miami Valley, allowing them to focus on their recovery.

📅 Race Details

• Date: Dayton Physicians 5k for HOPE 2024 is on Saturday August 16, 2025.
• Registration Deadline: The online registration deadline, to receive a shirt at the 5k is August 6, 2025. Those who register online, or in person, after this deadline, may not receive a shirt at the 5k.
• In-Person Registration: In-person registration will be available on the day of the event at 8:00am.

🏆 Awards and Medals

• Overall Winners: Medals will be handed out per age category at the end of the race and a $100 gift card will be handed out to the overall male and female runners.
• 1st Place Male: $100 Gift Card
• 1st Place Female: $100 Gift Card
• Age Group Medals: Medals for the Top Male/Female per age group (0-11, 12-18, 19-39, 40-59, 60 and up)
