DRC's The Half (13.1, 10K & 5K)

Race Overview

Join the Dallas Running Club on Sunday, November 1, 2026, for the 51st annual DRC’s The Half (Half Marathon, 10K & 5K). This beloved Dallas tradition celebrates the scenic trails of our running home, White Rock Lake, while supporting the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund for local student-athletes. The race starts at Norbuck Park and welcomes runners of all levels.

Why Run The Half?

• Multiple distances: for runners of all levels
• Community-driven: friendly race, organized by runners for runners
• Scenic route: miles around White Rock Lake–one of Dallas’ favorite running routes
• Support local athletes: through the Tal Morrison Scholarship

Race Start Times

8:00 am – Half Marathon, 8:10 am – 10K & 5K

Packet Pickup

• Pickup for others: You may pick-up packets for others, with some sort of confirmation they requested it (i.e. email, text, etc.)
• Dates: Friday, October 30, 2026 12:00–6:00 pm and Saturday, October 31, 2026, 12:00–6:00 pm at Luke's Locker, 3046 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75205
• Race morning: Sunday, November 2, 2025, 6:00–7:45 am at Norbuck Park 200 N. Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX 75218

Volunteer Opportunities

This race could never happen without our incredible volunteers. Opportunities are available before, during, and after the race. Sign up as an individual, gather a group, or volunteer as a family. Multiple roles are welcome as long as times don’t overlap.
