26th Annual Firecracker 5000

Join us on July 4, 2026, at 100 Branson Landing, Branson, MO for the 26th Annual Firecracker 5000 presented by Fleet Feet.

Race Options

• Choose Your Race: Select from the 5K or Fun Run.
• Start Time: 5K starts at 7:30 am with the Mile following.
• Timing: Mile Runners will have their own timing mats.
• Course: Run along the beautiful Lake Taneycomo, starting and finishing at the middle fountains on Branson Landing.

Teams

• Team Formation: Teams are for 5K ONLY. Runners must be paid 5K runners.
• Team Fees: Captain pays team fee, runners can join the team afterward.
• Minimum Requirement: At least 5 runners are needed to complete a team.
• Awards: Team Trophy and fireworks awarded to top teams.

Awards

• Overall Winners: 5K male & female winners receive Large Fireworks and a $125.00 Gift Card from Fleet Feet.
• Masters Winners: Awards for males and females aged 40 and above in the 5K.
• Age Divisions: Trophies for overall champions in various age divisions, 10 and under to 80 and up.
• Mile Fun Run Awards: 1st place for 12-under male and female along with finisher medals for all participants.

Finisher Medals

• Availability: Finisher medals for all races for the first 800 runners.
• Tasty Treats: Highland Dairy Ice Cream will be at the Finish Line passing out ice cream cones, bars, and orange push-ups.
• Giveaways: Gift cards from Branson Landing Starbucks and over $500.00 in prizes, including fireworks.

Packet Pickup

• Date 1: July 2nd at Fleet Feet, 1254 E Republic Rd, Springfield, MO from 3 PM to 5 PM.
• Date 2: July 3rd at Oscar's Famous Ribs, 302 Veterans Blvd, Branson, MO from 3 PM to 6 PM.
• Incentive: First 50 runners receiving a $5.00 voucher for Oscar's BBQ.
• Race Day Pickup: Available on July 4th from 6:15 AM to 7:15 AM at Branson Landing At The Fountains.

Virtual Races

• Alternate Options: Out Of Town 5K 10K virtual is a separate race.
• Award Shipping: Trophies and medals will be mailed, no fireworks included.
• Submission Deadline: Runners have until 7/12 to submit results for virtual races.
• Mailing Details: Times will be posted, and t-shirts/awards will be mailed out on Monday, 7/13.
