Rat Race 5k

Event Overview

The Rat Race was started in honor of US Navy SEAL Tom Ratzlaff of Green Forest, AR. This event remembers the 31 heroes lost on 8-6-2011 during Extortion 17.

Race Details

• Location: Green Forest School, Green Forest, Arkansas
• Date: June 6, 2026
• Check-in: 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM
• Start Time: 8:06 AM (Opening Ceremony at 7:45 AM)

Participation

• Pace: Runners may complete the race at any pace comfortable to them.
• Awards: Top 3 Male and Female runners will receive awards.
• Age Group Certificates: Available for ages 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
• Cost: $30.00 per entry.

Team Registration

• Team Discount: Sign up a team of 4 or more and receive a $10 discount on your registration.

Beneficiary Information

Proceeds from this race will benefit the Ratzlaff Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Good Grief Programs in area schools.

Cancellation Policy

This is a fund raiser for a non-profit organization: no refunds will be given for cancellation due to weather.
