Duck Donuthon

Event Overview

The Duck Donuthon is a fun run mixed with an eating competition designed for the whole family to enjoy! The course will be in McCowin Park, Ammon, Idaho, with some grass and a loop around the bike path. We will have a nice big "pig pen" area with music and fun where you get locked up until you eat your donut. You can check out the map on our website. This is a great activity for kids, runners, families, and die-hard crazies!

Race Details

• Date: June 20, 2026
• Location: 3074 Targhee St (McCowin Park), Ammon, ID
• Eating Challenge: Run your mile, enter our "Pig Pen," grab a donut, eat it, and repeat until completed.
• Finish Line: Your mouth must be empty before you head to the Start/Finish line.

Distances

• LIL DUCKY - 1 Mile: Run 1 mile and eat 1 donut: open start times every 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 10:45 am.
• HUNGRY DUCKY - 5k: Run 3 miles and eat 3 donuts: all 5k runners start at 9:00 am with a finish time until 11:00 am.
• CRAZY DUCKY - 10k: Run 6 miles and eat 6 donuts: starts at 8:00 am with time until 11:00 am.
• DUCKY BEAST (1/2 marathon): Run 13 miles and eat 13 donuts: starts at 7:00 am and has a finish time until 11:00 am.

Awards and Timing

• Finisher Awards: Participants receive a finisher award corresponding to their distance.
• Chip Timing: Provided by Vector Timing for accurate race results.
• Prizes: Awards for the fastest male and female participants in both 5k and 10k races.
• Donut Coupon: All participants receive a coupon for a free delicious donut (to be redeemed after the event).

Volunteering

We love having volunteers help us put this on. All volunteers will get a free T-Shirt and a Free Race Entry. If you have a spouse that wants to run, but you don’t, you can volunteer, get them in for free, and then be there to cheer them on.
