Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026 for the Stars and Strides 5K and Family Fun Run in New Concord, Ohio, hosted by Bravo Six Foundation.

Community Focus: This community-focused event brings runners, walkers, families, veterans, and first responders together for an evening of fitness, connection, and support.
Beneficiary: Proceeds from the event will directly benefit local veterans and first responders through emergency assistance and peer support initiatives in Southeastern Ohio.
All Ages: Whether you’re racing for a personal best or walking with family, this event is designed for all ages and ability levels.

Race Course

5K Details: The 5K course will begin and finish near Stormont Park in New Concord.
Route: The route will travel through portions of the village and along a designated section of John Glenn Highway (Route 22), utilizing a clearly marked and police-supported out-and-back course.
Water Stations: Water stations will be available along the route.
Timing: The 5K will be professionally chip-timed by Muskingum Multisports.

Family Fun Run: The Family Fun Run is a non-competitive, family-friendly event designed for participants of all ages.
Course Safety: The course follows a safe, clearly marked route through the village.
Walkers Welcome: Perfect for walkers, children, and strollers.
Pet Policy: Pets are permitted in the 1-mile event only (must remain leashed at all times).

Awards

5K Awards: 5K Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers.
Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in each age group: Under 14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+.
Family Fun Run: The 1-Mile Family Fun Run is non-competitive and will not include age group awards.

Race Packets & Finish Line Perks

Guaranteed Items: All participants registered by June 20, 2026 are guaranteed an Official Stars and Strides race shirt, a Custom race bib, and a Finisher medal.
Late Registration: Registrations received after June 20, 2026 are welcomed but are not guaranteed a shirt or medal.
Post-Race Refreshments: Available for all participants. Food trucks and Kona Ice will be on-site following the race.

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

Packet Pick-Up: Race day packet pick-up and registration will begin at 5:00 PM at Stormont Park.
Online Registration: Closes prior to race day (date to be determined).

Entry Fees

5K Early Registration: $30 (through June 20).
5K Registration: $35 (June 21 – August 7), $40 (Race Day Registration).
1-Mile Family Fun Run Early Registration: $20 (through June 20).
1-Mile Registration: $25 (June 21 – August 7), $30 (Race Day Registration).
Charity Focus: All proceeds support Bravo Six Foundation programs serving veterans and first responders in Southeastern Ohio.

Refund & Weather Policy

Bravo Six Foundation reserves the right to modify, postpone, cancel, or convert the Stars and Strides 5K and Family Fun Run to a virtual event due to safety concerns, inclement weather, natural disaster, public health issues, or other events beyond our control.

Participant Refunds: Race registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Transfer: Registration may be transferred to another participant up to 7 days before the event with written notice to race management.
Canceled Event: If the event is canceled or converted to a virtual format, participants will not receive refunds, but race shirts and finisher medals will be shipped or available for pickup when feasible.
Extreme Weather: The Race Director and local authorities may delay or modify the race start, shorten the course, or implement safety protocols without refund.

Updates regarding weather and event status will be posted on the official race website and communicated via email and social media when possible.

Virtual Event: If the in-person event cannot be held safely, it will convert to a non-refundable virtual event, with results submitted online, and race shirts and medals mailed.
