Stars and Strides 5K

Race Overview

Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026 for the Stars and Strides 5K in New Concord, Ohio, hosted by Bravo Six Foundation. This community-focused event brings runners, walkers, families, veterans, and first responders together for an evening of fitness, connection, and support. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit local veterans and first responders through emergency assistance and peer support initiatives in Southeastern Ohio.

When / Where

• Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
• Event opens: 5:30 PM
• 5K Start: 6:00 PM
• Location: Stormont Park, 4 Storemont Street, New Concord, Ohio 43762

Race Course

• Distance: 5K (3.1 Miles)
• Course Details: The 5K course will begin and finish near Stormont Park in New Concord.
• Route: The route will travel through portions of the village and along a designated section of John Glenn Highway (Route 22), utilizing a clearly marked and police-supported out-and-back course.
• Timing: The 5K will be professionally chip-timed by Muskingum Multisports.

Awards

• Top Finishers: 5K Awards will be presented to Top Overall Male and Female Finishers.
• Age Groups: Awards for Top Male and Female Finishers in each age group.
• Categories: Under 14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+

Race Packets & Finish Line Perks

• Guaranteed Items: All participants registered by July 20, 2026 are guaranteed an Official Stars and Strides race shirt, Custom race bib, and Finisher medal.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Available for all participants.
• Food Options: Food trucks and Kona Ice will be on-site following the race.
• Note: Registrations received after July 20, 2026 are welcome to participate but are not guaranteed a shirt or medal.

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

• Pick-Up Time: Race day packet pick-up and registration will begin at 5:00 PM at Stormont Park.
• Online Registration: Closes prior to race day (date to be determined).

Entry Fees

• Early Registration: $30 (through June 20)
• Late Registration: $35 (June 21 – August 7)
• Race Day Registration: $40
• Support: All proceeds support Bravo Six Foundation programs serving veterans and first responders in Southeastern Ohio.

Refund & Weather Policy

Bravo Six Foundation reserves the right to modify, postpone, cancel, or convert the Stars and Strides 5K and Family Fun Run to a virtual event due to safety concerns, inclement weather, natural disaster, public health issues, or other events beyond our control.

• Participant Refunds: Race registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Transfer Policy: Registration may be transferred to another participant up to 7 days before the event with written notice to race management.
• Cancellation Policy: If the event is canceled or converted to a virtual format due to safety concerns, participants will not receive refunds.
• Weather Updates: Updates regarding weather and event status will be posted on the official race website and communicated via email and social media when possible.
