FXBG Trail 10 Miler

Race Overview

The Quarry 10.2 miler is the fifth race in the FXBG Trail series. This race begins with a peaceful stretch along the Rappahannock River, where the Beach Trail hugs the water and the sound of the river sets the rhythm for your stride.

Course Description

• Opening Miles: The opening miles are smooth and scenic — a calm, steady start that invites you to settle in and enjoy the view before the course begins to build.
• Middle Miles: As you move away from the river, the middle miles introduce a series of rolling hills that keep things lively.
• Challenges: These ups and downs are playful but purposeful, testing your pacing and leg turnover.
• Recovery: Offering just enough recovery on the descents to stay strong.

Final Challenge

Then comes the finale — one big climb that stands between you and the finish. It’s the defining challenge of the day, steady and demanding, asking for your last reserves of grit.
