Downtown Mile for CASA

Event Overview

• Date: September 19th, 2026
• Location: 900 Charles Street, Fredericksburg, VA
• Support: Proceeds benefit Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit.

Purpose

• Advocacy: Supports court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children.
• Goals: Ensures children can feel safe, have permanent homes, and the opportunity to thrive.
• Atmosphere: Join us for a fun downtown evening race.
• Shirts: Guaranteed for participants who register by September 1, 2026.

Race Series

• Series: The Downtown Mile for CASA is the 9th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series.
• Points: All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.

Race Waves

• 5:00 pm: Wave 1 Females ages 15 and up
• 5:15 pm: Wave 2 Males ages 15 and up
• 5:30 pm: Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14
• 5:45 pm: Superhero Run - Open to all ages, families, and participants with strollers.

Packet Pickup

• Location: River Rock Outfitters, 1382 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
• Time: From 4 pm - 6 pm, September 18, 2026

Race Day Registration

• Time: Registration and packet pickup will be held from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
• Smart Registration: Register on your smartphone or tablet at the event.
• Shirt Policy: Only guaranteed to those who register by September 1st.
