Downtown Mile for CASA

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Heroes and villains get ready to race! This year's Family Fun Wave is once again a "Superhero Run." Please join in the virtual RUN/WALK challenge. Virtual participants will be able to compete by logging the most miles between June 01, 2025, and September 18th, 2026.

• Event Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2026.
• Beneficiaries: All proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy.
• Mission: Ensuring every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and thrive.

🏅 Grand Prix Series

Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series: The Downtown Mile for CASA is the 8th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.

📍 Location

Charles Street, Downtown Fredericksburg

⏰ Race Waves

• 6:00 pm: Wave 1 Females ages 15 and up
• 6:15 pm: Wave 2 Males ages 15 and up
• 6:30 pm: Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14
• 6:45 pm: Superhero Run - open to all ages, families, parents with strollers, walking participants, etc.

👕 Shirts

Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by August 20, 2025.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: TBD
• Date: Friday, September 18th from 4-6 pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Begins at 4:30 pm on Saturday.
• Race Day Registration: Packet pickup from 4:30 - 6 p.m. on Saturday. Register on your smartphone or tablet at the event.
