About this race
Race Overview
The purpose of the Fathers and Families race event is to promote the vital role fathers play as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities.
Event Details
- Date: June 19, 2027
- Location: Pratt Park, 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg, VA
- Course: A paved and gravel path winding along the back side of the YMCA
- Activities: Live music, a photographer, an award ceremony, and refreshments after the race
