Event Overview

This course is located at Callaway Gardens event "FANTASY IN LIGHTS".

Race Details

• Start Time: 4:45pm (No athletes will be permitted to start after 5pm!!)
• Course Information: The course will meander through all of the "Fantasy in Lights". It is suitable for runners and walkers/strollers alike.
• Special Features: This run course includes marshmallow, chocolate, and candy cane miles. Stick around after the race for your picture with Santa!

Categories and Awards

• Categories: Male & female - 14-under - 15-19 in five year increments up to 70+
• Awards: Top three in each age group

Pre-Race Information

• Packet Pick Up: Sunday from 2:00-4:30PM at Robin Lake Circus Tent
• Admission: Entrance into the gardens is free. Spectators can drive through or trolley the light at an additional charge.
• Important Reminder: 5pm start time, mandatory light requirement, and check in time.

Race Start and Safety

• Start Line: A short 1/4-1/2 walk from the parking area adjacent to Wren Lake.
• Lights: All participants must have some sort of light/glow stick/vest/flashlight to be visible.
• Parking: Parking is located in the Robin Beach parking area. ARRIVE EARLY as a large crowd is expected.

Run Course and Finish Line

• Course Map: The run course map can be located at this link.
• Aid Stations: 5-6 aid stations will be available, themed with marshmallows, chocolate, candy canes, mistletoe, etc.
• Finish Line: The finish line will be located on the beach path beneath the pavilion.

Post-Race and Accommodations

• Awards Ceremony: Awards will begin at approximately 6:45-7pm. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal as long as they sign up early.
• Hotel Accommodations: Callaway Gardens offers a discount rate on accommodations. Call 1-877-916-1725 and ask for the "Fitness Series" rate.

• Weather Policy: There are no “rain dates.” If conditions are hazardous, management may change or cancel the event without refunds.
