• Kickoff: Start the Chickamauga Blue & Gray BBQ Festival with the Meat Sweats Sizzler Run — a fun and festive race.
• Community: This race is about community, laughter, and working up an appetite for ribs, brisket, and festival favorites.
• Costumes: Costumes are welcome — bacon, pigs, pitmasters, or anything BBQ inspired!

Distances

• 5K: Meat Sweats Sizzler
• 1 Mile: Hot Sauce Mile 🌶️
• Challenge: The Hot Sauce Mile is for those who like to bring a little heat with an optional hot sauce dash.
• Fun: It's short, spicy, and all in good fun.

Swag & Awards

• Participation: Every participant will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal.
• Awards: Given to Overall Male & Female.
• Age Groups: 0–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
• Festival: After the race, enjoy the Chickamauga Blue & Gray BBQ Festival with BBQ vendors, local makers, and live music.
