Run for Hope

Event Overview

The Sierra Cascades Run for Hope is a meaningful community event created to bring people together in support, remembrance, and hope. This run represents every stage of the cancer journey - those currently in treatment, showing extraordinary courage each day; the survivors whose strength inspires others; the loved ones who remain forever part of our lives; and the families and caregivers who stand beside them through it all.

Purpose of the Event

• Participants' motivation: On this day participants don’t just show up to run or walk. They show up for someone… for a Friend… for a Parent… for a Child… for Themselves.
• Symbol of support: Each step becomes more than movement - it becomes a symbol of support, strength, and unity.
• Community togetherness: Run for Hope creates a space where the community comes together to lift one another, share encouragement, and stand side by side in a way that reminds every person they are not alone in their journey.
• Inclusive event: With distances welcoming both runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, this event is open to everyone who wants to be a part of something meaningful.
